Marksmanship
Part of every cadets training is the safe use and handling of a Daisey Air Rifle. These pellet rifles have been designed for the cadets to use in marksmanship competitions. The rifle is not considered a firearm in Canada due to the lower pellet velocity used.
Under the supervision of our RSO (Range Safety Officer), senior cadets and coaches cadets will be taught rifle safety and proper firing techniques.
These range nights are scheduled through out the year. For those interested, 2659 fields a competitive marksmanship team. All interested individuals are encouraged to try out for the team.
